*£200 retention bonus for level 2 or above in Health & Social Care payable after 6 months probation* 

We are looking for compassionate Senior Carer to join our dedicated team at Stagenhoe Park, Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Your role will be to coordinate the provision of high quality holistic person centred care and support to individuals accessing Sue Ryder services. 

The role responsibilities will be: 
•To provide direct supervision, coaching and mentoring to junior staff 
•Participate openly and honestly in any investigation if care falls below expected standards 
•Take instruction from line management with regarding communicating with service users and their representatives following an incident 
•Ensure accurate reporting and documentation 
•Participate in care planning implementation and review as a key worker 
•Promote the values, build morale and encourage others to perform to high standards 

Experience and skills required: 
•S/NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent 
•2 years relevant care work experience 
•Coaching and mentoring experience and or qualifications 

8.00 pm to 6.00 am (nights) 30% 
Friday midnight to Sunday midnight (weekends 45% 
Public Holidays 24 hours midnight to midnight 60%
