East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group is a leading NHS organisation with an award-winning governing body. Working closely with partner organisations, the CCG's 300 staff design, plan and commission health services for more than half a million people and monitor the quality and effectiveness of those services.

Our forward thinking, financially robust and clinically-led organisation is based in the centre of Welwyn Garden City, a 1920's 'garden city' in the heart of Hertfordshire. Welwyn Garden City is 25 minutes from central London by train and easily assessed from A1 and other major roads networks.

Our Programme Office team is looking for an ambitious, dynamic individual who can make a significant contribution to our programmes around planned and unplanned care commissioning, and service and pathway redesign to help deliver our QIPP programme.

Successful post holders will have professional insight to quickly grasp the key challenges of the post, be innovative, resilient and be able to work at a fast pace to engage with provider partners, clinical commissioners and other stakeholders, in particular those working within our STP footprint.

If you have significant expertise and experience in line with the following areas and are able to apply these to commissioning, services redesign or QIPP opportunities, then we would welcome an application from you.

-Commissioning or service provision.

-Developing commissioning and operating plans, targets and outcomes for a portfolio of programmes.

-Supporting the review and development of service specifications, KPIs and information schedules.

-Patient and public involvement, engagement and communications.

-Embedding of project management methodologies.

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary subject to a minimum and maximum payment per annum (pro rata where applicable) in line with agenda for Change.

A full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Single Equality Act 2010).

The job advertised is a full time post. However a job share or part time hours would be considered.
