We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the Merseyside Regional Capacity Management Team (RCMT) to support the Head of Urgent and Emergency Care. The RCMT has built an enviable reputation across Merseyside as leaders in delivering a responsive, coordinated system that supports the Local Health Economy in the daily operational management of their emergency and unscheduled care agenda.

Our work includes the continued development of an area wide communication network, development of the established web based Escalation Management System (EMS+), and collection and analysis of relevant urgent care activity data information. We also deliver a 24/7 Regional Capacity Co-Ordination System, designed to anticipate increased demand in emergency activity and the actions required from partners to ensure the optimal use of all elements of the urgent care pathway.

Supporting the Head of Urgent and Emergency Care, you will provide expertise, support and guidance on urgent care capacity coordination and optimisation to health and external partners. You will be proactive in project management, support short task and finish groups, assist in the completion of audits, provide predictions of anticipated demand, and assist with future service planning.

You will develop and maintain reports produced from the RCMT’s information systems and assist in the development and provision of an information analysis service to the Regional Capacity Managers which includes development of procedures to help improve data quality.
