The CLCH Academy has been implemented into the Trust with the aim of being a place where Trust staff and Primary Care nurses can train and learn together, share knowledge and gain professional support. The Academy Lead –Clinical and Professional Education will work closely with the Head of Academy and will be responsible for leading the Professional and Clinical education actives in order to meet the strategic objectives of the Academy.

The post holder will manage Practice Development Nurses within the Academy team and be the Trust’s Non-Medical Prescribing Lead. They will co-ordinate the provision of continuing personal and professional development (CPPD), ensuring that this is aligned to the strategic priorities of HEE and organisational imperatives identified through the annual business planning cycle and training needs analysis. We are looking for an individual with an understanding of Community and Primary healthcare as well as knowledge of education and the workforce in a health care setting.
