Practice Nurse Manager

Ridgacre Medical CentresĀ is a highly regarded group of GP surgeries based in the Quinton and Nechells areas of Birmingham offering a comprehensive range of medical services. We are part of the Our Health Partnership organisation and are proud to have been rated as Outstanding by CQC for the second time earlier this year.

We have a permanent position for a Practice Nurse Manager. This position would be ideally suited to an experienced practice nurse who can support and manage the nursing team in accordance with practice policies, protocols and guidance.

As well as having the necessary treatment room skills the successful candidate would be required to

  • Manage the Nurse/HCA teams across all of our 4 sites
  • Be involved in recruitment
  • Conduct Nurse and HCA annual appraisals
  • Chair Nurse/HCA monthly meetings
  • Infection Control Lead
  • Attending Clinical Management Meetings and liaising with MDT
  • Ensuring that the team deliver high quality nurse care
  • Experience/knowledge of Chronic Disease Management

The successful candidate must be a car owner and be able to work across sites based in Quinton and Nechells.
