Contract manager - Band 6

12 month fixed term opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a role within NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group’s busy Contracts team for Band 6 Contract Manager.

The post holder will be responsible for independent management of a portfolio of healthcare contracts that will include acute, community and GP contracts. The post holder will need to have strong interpersonal skills to deal with complex and sensitive matters that may arise in day-to-day business and have a credible presence with stakeholders including providers and GP elected members. The right candidate will also need the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

The post holder will be expected to work with colleagues including Business Intelligence, Finance, Quality and Commissioning and other CCGs, to coherently manage all elements of the contracts within their portfolio with limited support. The post holder will need to be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and an attention to detail that is reflected in verbal and written communication.
