Internal applications are invited to apply for the post of Senior Appointment Clerk to join the Radiology Department at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The post is to cover Maternity leave and is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment opportunity with the working days of Monday, Tuesday and Friday for 22.5 hrs per week.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, friendly, have good communication, have a good telephone manner and show evidence of a capacity to work with clinicians, children and their carers.

Experience of dealing with the general public, working in a team environment and use of patient based computer systems would be an advantage as would experience of hospital appointment systems and waiting list systems.

Applicants are invited to view the department from week commencing 3rd June. Short listing will then take place and candidates will be invited to interview week commencing 24th Jun.

This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
