An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated full time permanent B6 pharmacist to join the clinical pharmacy team at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust.  This vacancy is ideal for existing band 6 pharmacists or newly qualified pharmacists who want to work in a paediatric environment.  Hospital pharmacy experience and paediatric experience are desirable but extensive training will be provided to support the successful candidates in developing clinical skills and experience during rotations to a variety of paediatric wards, the Aseptic Unit, In-patient and Out-patient dispensaries. Alder Hey is one of only 4 stand-alone children’s hospitals in the U.K. We moved into our brand new "Children's Health Park" in October 2015 and now have an environment designed for and by children. The Pharmacy Department currently employs approximately 90 staff and provides a wide range of services to the patients and families who attend the hospital.  The post holder will join a friendly and dedicated team of pharmacists who are committed to providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care and medicines optimisation to our patients and their families.
