An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly Directorate of Rehabilitation & Therapies in our administrative team providing a high level of business support to our Therapy services. Based at the Royal Brompton Hospital the successful candidate will work as part of the administration team to support the service which will include referral management, customer service, liaising with patients re appointments, electronic document management, and recording data in internal hospital systems. You will be part of a dynamic administration team and work closely with clinicians from Palliative Care, Speech and Language/Voice Therapy and other therapy teams.

Applicants must have previous administrative or medical secretarial experience - preferably within the NHS or a healthcare setting and possess excellent IT skillsincluding: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Patient Administration System and hospital databases will be desirable; however training in all systems will be provided. It is essential that you possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be tactful, diplomatic, flexible and demonstrate an ability to work alone and as part of a team in this busy department.
