We are seeking a committed and experienced Theatre Co-ordinator with Riverside Day Surgery and Short Stay Unit, based at Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith, you will be a highly motivated person that will lead an experienced theatre team.

The post holder will be responsible for leading and coordinating the team, taking continued responsibility for the daily management and organisation of staff and the clinical area.

The post holder will work very closely with the other specialist theatre team leaders to ensure the needs of the patients are placed at the centre of the care delivery. You will support the patient pathway and ensure the safe management of the clinical areas through establishment of clear working practices.

Riverside Day Surgery and Short Stay Unit is based at Charing Cross Hospital consisting of 20 inpatient and 16 recovery beds which support the high volume work of the four theatres. We specialise in providing high quality care to patients undergoing breast surgery, ENT, general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, podiatric surgery, urology and vascular surgery. In addition, Riverside Day Surgery supports the flagship NHS England prostate programme (RAPID).

We welcome applications from experienced band 6 nurses and who are looking to progress their careers to the next level. Currently working within an acute setting and have recent exposure to surgical patient pathways and coordinating a team, you will be eager to take on and grow your leadership and mentoring skills. Your development is our priority and this will be supported by the senior nursing team and our clinical practice educator.
