An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic ,motivated and experience research Nurse, with excellent planning and organisational skills to join the Research Team at Ealing Hospital and be responsible for assessing and managing the care pathways for patients and carers participating in our research studies.

 

The successful candidate must be first level registered nurse and educated to degree/diploma level or equivalent.

 

It is essential that the successful candidate has professional clinical knowledge evidenced through at least two years in the acute setting.

 

Evidence of experience in diabetes is essential and working in research would be an added benefit. There must be willingness demonstrated to undertake the appropriate training required for this post if required for certain clinical trials.

 

The LNWH is a research active Trust. The Research teams and R@D are committed to improving healthcare services by promoting and supporting a wide range of high quality research.

 

The role will involve setting up and coordinating clinical studies ,delivering on key objectives and developing research capacity within the trust Research and Development department.

 

You will recruit patients into studies and be responsible for all aspects or enrolment and data collection. You will work collaboratively with the clinical studies team and the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT) in the management of clinical trials.

 

The post holder will be expected to be proactive in educating clinical staff in the specifics of running clinical trials. You should demonstrate the ability to manage own workload and to work as part of a team.

 

Previous experience working within a clinical research environment will be desirable. This post offers excellent opportunities in gaining managerial experience with flexible working hours and the opportunity to maintain your clinical skills.
