Consultant Haematologist in Wirral University Teaching Hospital

Full time (10 PA's)

Applications are invited to apply for a general Haematology post from dynamic individuals. The vacancy has arisen due to the retirement of one of the Consultants. The new post holder will join a team of three other Consultant Haematologists.

The post requires the candidate to have a good grounding in general and malignant Haematology and contribute to inpatient and outpatient Haematology, including out-of-hours Haematology on call.

At WUTH, the candidates will join a team of three other full time consultant Haematologists, one Specialist Registrar, two CMT doctors, 1.8 whole time equivalent Clinical Nurse Specialists and two Haematology specialist nurses. WUTH forms part of the Cheshire and Merseyside cancer network and is recognized as a BCSH level 2B service.
