The Respiratory and Sleep Physiology Service has an exciting opportunity to recruit a motivated individual to the role of Senior Clinical Respiratory Physiologist as a Band 6. The Lung Function Service provides a range of diagnostic testing on a wide variety of patients with both respiratory and non-respiratory conditions. You will be joining a busy, multidisciplinary team including Nurse Specialists, Physiologists, Administration Support and Consultants.

 

The post holder will be responsible for performing standard lung function tests, and a wide range of complex testing including bronchial provocation, capillary blood gases and field exercise tests. They will also have to opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in sleep study analysis whilst maintaining existing skills in Lung Function testing and CPAP clinics.

 

It is essential for the post holder to have previous experience in lung function testing, with a background of BSc in Healthcare Science (respiratory major) or equivalent.
