Band 5 Bank: £12.38 - £15.40 per hour

Bank – Zero Hours/As and when required.

We are looking to recruit Anaesthetic / Recovery Practitioners and Nurses to our hospital Bank.

The successful candidate will work along side members of the Theatre team and will be responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality patient -focused care within the allocated area. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring all resources within that area are used to optimum effect, ensuring the highest quality patient care standards are delivered where appropriate and all members of the multidisciplinary team comply with Theatre protocols such as sterility, infection control, manual handling, Health and Safety and patient advocacy.

 

Our unit has 12 Theatres, Recovery, HDU and TSSU. We cover a wide range of Orthopaedic specialties, including Revision and Primary Arthroplasty, Shoulder and Upper limb, Sports injuries, Foot and Ankle, Paediatrics, Spines and Musculoskeletal Tumour.


We are looking for experienced Nurse’s / ODPs with the appropriate professional registration.Where necessary specialist training will be provided. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, pro-active and willing to learn new skills.

Ideally candidates will hold a relevant anaesthetic qualification and also have experience of working in a recovery unit allowing them to be utilised by both areas. However, staff experienced in only one area will also be considered; please highlight on your application.
