Senior /Accredited/Trained Clinical Code

Band 5 and 4 with 7% Recruitment & Retention Premium

Are you a trained clinical coder looking for a new role? As a Senior Clinical Coder you will bridge the gap between our Accredited Clinical Coders and Team Leaders and will play a key role in continual coding improvement across the department. You will be responsible for mentoring less experienced staff and engaging with clinicians, alongside having a coding workload working to tight deadlines.

For the role we are looking for highly skilled, motivated and enthusiastic clinical coders with at least one year’s experience post NCCQ.

The right candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, an extensive knowledge of clinical coding rules and conventions, as well as an in depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology & medical terminology.

We also have Band 4 (with 7% RRP) Accredited Clinical Coder roles available for candidates with less than a year’s experience post –accreditation. Band 4 coders will then become eligible for the Band 5 Senior Clinical Coder role after achievement of suitable experience and successful completion of assessments.

We’d love to hear from you if you’ve completed your Clinical Coding Standards Course; we will support you to attain your NCCQ. You will also receive the 7% RRP.
