Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is one of the biggest Mental Health and Community NHS Foundation Trusts in the country, we are newly merged organisation previously known as 'SEPT' and 'NEP' and have just achieved a 'Good' CQC rating supporting all of the hard work and achievements our EPUT staff had made since the merger. We provide community services across South East Essex, West Essex, Bedfordshire and Luton. We also provide integrated care including mental health, learning disability, and social care to culturally and economically diverse communities across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk. We employ approximately 5,500 people and work with a wide range of partners 'Working to Improve Lives'.

We are a responsive, innovative and dynamic Foundation Trust delivering leading edge health services in a constantly changing environment. We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospital and community based premises. We have many modern community based resource centres and community facilities to provide local services to local people where possible.

Unlike acute hospital services, Community Health Services, mental health and learning disability services are mainly provided in community settings with defined geographical localities. As a result we operate from various locations across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk

Liaison Sister – Single Point of Access

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of clinicians and referral co-ordinators in the Single Point of Access Team based at St. Margaret’s Community Hospital, Epping. Working as part of this dedicated team, you would be using your excellent communication skills to facilitate the successful onward referral of patients to our community services across West Essex.

If you have a desire to play a part in the effective co-ordination and delivery of community services to patients, then this could be the position for you! We are seeking individuals that can work collaboratively with a full range of health and social care providers as well as users and carers. The post holder would be expected to have a keen sense of customer care, an excellent telephone manner and good IT/administrative skills.
