We are looking for a Data Warehouse Architect/Manager to lead a team of newly formed BI team, using 2016 Microsoft stack in developing new ETLs, data models dashboards and reporting services packages to meet the growing needs of the expanding Trust.


This is an exciting time to join the Team as we aspire to become a centre of excellence in NHS BI services in order to support the Trust to the achieve its mission of providing world-class expertise in the delivery of local care for our service users.


The role requires an experienced BI manager/architect with hands on experience in designing and creating SSIS, SSAS and SSRS front-end tools to meet the requirements of Service Leads, Performance Managers and clinicians.


To succeed in the role, you will have strong technical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable working with the latest analytical techniques and technologies. You will have demonstrable experience of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries to deliver information solutions and leading and managing staff in a complex and time pressured environment.


The successful candidate should have a detailed working knowledge of NHS data standards and reporting requirements; specific mental and community health provider information management requirements structures; and experience of a range of analytical tools and techniques to deliver insight for clinical and management staff. The post holder will ensure that the BI Service can meet the strategic, tactical, and operational reporting requirements through the provision of reporting solutions.


The responsibilities of this post include managing both human and material resources, leadership of staff, and professional development of staff. You will also have excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification.


Together with the Head of Business Intelligence, and Information Managers, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of the Trust Performance reporting for the Executive and Board and supporting the performance agenda of the Trust.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to provide a comprehensive BI services that meets the business needs of the Trust and working towards achieving a centre of excellence in BI services.
