Assistant Director of Care and Quality (Hospice Community Services)

 

St Luke’s Pay: 10A(Depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours:37.5 Hours per week with some out of hours and on-call work

You will oversee the leadership management of our Hospice Community Services and Community Palliative Care Team to ensure patients receive gold standard care and support.

 

You will provide expert professional, credible and visible leadership which inspires, motivates and empowers staff across the Hospice and in all care settings.

 

You will provide expert clinical advice and be an active participant within appropriate meetings including deputising for the Director of Care and Quality as required.

 

You will possess advanced knowledge of relevant issues in health and social care pertaining to Hospice and end of life care, ethics, innovation and application in practice.

 

You will be based at St Luke’s Hospice but will be expected to work at other sites as required. This post holder is required to have a professional registration with demonstrable experience in a palliative care speciality some of which should be hospice or community based.

 

The post holder should have a relevant degree, preferably at master’s level or be willing to undertake.
