An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurses/Mental Health Practitioners to join our Community CWAMH Teams at in Sheffield. The Community Teams deliver care to young people up to the age of 18 years. Using a range of evidence based assessment and treatment pathways, delivered by a full MDT membership.

As a service working with Children, Young People and families we welcome qualified mental health nurses and allied health practioners applying, who have a clear passion and wish to make a difference. The candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills acquired in core training along with the ability to demonstrate high quality evidence based assessments and treatments in practice, alongside management of risk and crisis. We are part of the CYP IAPT initiative and work in partnership with our users and carers. There are excellent opportunities for training and clinical supervision, supported by a team training oversight. Much of the delivery of care within the community teams is underpinned by the Transformation plans within Sheffield and Future in Mind Vision. In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£49). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
