The Role


Trust Registrar - General Surgery

40 hours per week

8am-5pm plus 1:11 on call

Based at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, St. Margaret's Hospital and Herts & Essex Hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor to join our department in the provision of general surgical services. The post is permanent full time.



The post offers the appointee the opportunity to develop their interest in General Surgery.

Applicants must have experience of working at Registrar level in the UK, be registered with the GMC with the right to work in the UK

The post holder will need to be capable of managing general surgery emergency patients as the post is full time with a 1:11 on call commitment.



Must be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.



MRCS or FRCS 2
