Clinical Psychology Services are seeking to recruit a full-time Administrator to work with the team based at Dovedale Day Hospital, London Road Community Hospital, London Road, Derbyshire, DE1 2QY. The successful candidate may also be required to provide cover at our other office at St Andrews House (also on London Road) DE1 2SX

We are looking for someone with proven administrative and reception skills to undertake and provide a comprehensive, high quality service for a team of psychologists and therapists working with people with a range of mental health difficulties including people with dementia and their carers.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with patients, carers and all levels of staff, dealing with calls promptly and sensitively and ensuring that urgent calls are passed on as appropriate.

Excellent keyboard skills are essential as you will be responsible for typing letters and clinical reports etc. and for ensuring the Trust’s patient databases are accurately maintained.

We will provide the successful candidate with appropriate training in the necessary Trust IT systems and ongoing support in their use.

DBS Check

The cost of undertaking a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service formerly known as CRB) disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure which will be deducted from your first month’s salary. The current price of a standard check is £26 and an enhanced check is £44.
