THEATRE ADMINISTRATION APPRENTICE 224-PA20190500017

Contract – Fixed Term until 31st May 2020

Apprentice rate: £3.90 per hour / £146.25 per week

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic apprentice for our Theatre Administration department.

The successful candidate will be based in our operating department providing administration support to a multidisciplinary team. You will undertake the NVQ Level 3 Business and Administration course which is A level equivalent.

The post will include assisting the Theatre Scheduling Manager to ensure optimal utilisation of our 12 operating theatres, assisting the Theatres Anaesthetic and Divisional Manager PA and the Theatre Receptionist.

Duties will include the daily use of the Theatre Scheduling system, audio typing, general receptionist duties and other administrative support as required.

We are looking for an all-round team player with a willingness to learn, have a flexible approach and ability to work on one’s own initiative. Candidates should also display discretion as they will be dealing with sensitive and confidential information on a daily basis.
