Our Practice Manager is retiring at the end of September 2019 and we are looking for a suitable replacement. It is hoped to have a hand-over period of 1 month.

This a full time permanent position with the Practice Manager expected to take overall responsibility for the smooth running of the practice. A competitive salary is on offer, commensurate with experience, together with an excellent NHS pension

We are a friendly 4 partner practice caring for 12,000 patients situated in a coastal area near Blackpool with an above average list of elderly patients. We utilise

Emis Web and Docman software.

Candidates must have demonstrable leadership skills, combined with operational management experience, sound financial acumen, competency in office IT and excellent people-management, communication and organisational skills at all levels. The successful applicant will also have the privilege of being supported by HR & H&S consultancy services.

A background in healthcare would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Supported by a dedicated administrative and clinical team, you will also have the vision, willingness and drive to move the practice forward, adapt to NHS targets and changes within a profitable, efficient working environment. You will possess the aptitude to support practice engagement with the wider health economy as required, such as our primary care network, practice manager network and secondary care providers to ensure we are consistently kept aware of best practice and new developments.
