NHS Somerset CCG is looking to recruit a Band 7 Engagement Lead Officer to join the Corporate Buisness team, which is part of the wider Operations directorate.

Somerset CCG has ambitious plans to transform services in Somerset and move at fast pace towards a fully integrated care system for our population. We recognise that first class patient and public engagement in vital to our success. You will work with our new Head of Communications and Engagement to develop and implement our patient engagement strategy and you will be responsible for managing our patient and public engagement function. This will involve working with staff, stakeholders, and wider audiences to ensure that the patient voice is heard in all aspects of our business. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have a high level of skill and experience in this area and be an excellent communicator and listener.


This post is based at NHS Somerset CCG HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. However, this role will require you to travel to other locations across the county of Somerset to meet the needs of the service.

This is a permanent, full-time post of 37.5 hours per week. Job Share and Secondment opportunities will be considered.
