Due to the promotion of the existing post holder the Estates and Facilities team at WWLFT are looking to recruit at highly motivated individual from either an Estates and Facilities background with a keen interest in business and finance, or from a Finance background with an interest in diversifying into Estates and Facilities Management.

The post holder will be responsible for business and financial performance management and contract monitoring across all aspects of the estate ensuring that the Estates and Facilities Division meets a range of local and corporate standards, and objectives.

He/she will also significantly contribute to the development of new initiatives and services related to the NHS modernisation agenda/national performance indicators.

The post holder will also assist the Director of Estates and Facilities and act as Divisional Lead on Business Improvement, Service Development/Improved Performance and Customer Satisfaction within the Trust, including the promotion of quality improvements and act as project lead on specific programmes in order to maximise the utilisation of space and reduce overheads associated with reference costs.

A key part of this role is to provide an external contract monitoring service and management of the support services team within a community setting.

The post holder may be required (dependant on experience) to take part in the Trust wide Estates and Facilities on-call system to provide emergency cover outside normal working hours.

This will involve the participation in a rota arrangement currently at a frequency of 1 in 6.

On-Call

Please note that positions at AFC band 8A or above may participate in an on-call rota, if the role is predominantly operational.
