The Sexual Health Service is looking to recruit a Receptionist to join our admin & clerical team based within the NHS Walk-in Centre in central Exeter.

This is a busy environment and the successful candidate will require excellent customer care skills, the ability to multitask, and be able to provide a warm, friendly and efficient reception service to all visitors to the centre.

We work with a diverse range of patients and the post holder must be non-judgemental and demonstrate a positive self-motivated attitude with the ability to remain calm and professional at all times.

The successful candidate will work within a team of reception staff supporting the clinical services based within the Walk-In Centre and will undertake a range of reception & administration duties to support the Lead Receptionist and clinical teams.

The ability to communicate professionally and sensitively with members of the public is essential for this busy role. Computer skills are desirable and training will also be provided on electronic booking systems used within the service.

Hours will be on a flexible rota to cover service opening hours which will include some weekend, evening and bank holiday cover. There will also be a requirement to work at locality clinics based at Tiverton, Exmouth & Okehampton.
