From £18,813 per annum (pro rata)

We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic Assistant Administrator to work in an interesting and varied role to support the Mental Health Legislation & Safeguarding Administration Team, based at Fountain Way Hospital in Salisbury.

You will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and be part of a trust wide team providing high quality administration.

You should possess a flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing roles within the service to provide cover during times of absence / leave.

You will need to have knowledge of MS Office with secretarial/administrative experience and be able to learn new systems and data bases together with good organisational skills, enabling you to prioritise your own workload.

Good interpersonal skills are required for this role as it entails working with people and staff in a variety of settings and it will be necessary for you to possess a professional and empathic approach for people suffering from mental health problems.

Experience of working with the 1983 Mental Health Act/Safeguarding is desirable, as is experience of working with AWP systems such as Rio.
