Leeds Cares is an independent charity situated in Leeds working in collaboration with a range of health care providers including Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraiser - Events who would like to be part of a growing team where they can really make a difference. If you are looking for an exciting challenge why not join Leeds Cares.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Fundraiser to build and develop fundraising relationships by providing excellent stewardship and support to our internal and external supporters, fundraising groups and volunteers. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of developing strong relationships whilst working towards the achievement of targets.

 

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Events fundraising experience including the delivery of supporter led income

  • Experience of working with volunteers

  • An excellent networker, capable of developing relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds

  • A very strong performance ethic, driven and motivated towards the achievement of targets

  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to on-going learning and continuing professional development

  • Ability to contribute to a pro-active team culture

If you are offered a position, you may be required to undertake a DBS. The Charity will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £48 or Standard £30) from your salary over a 3 month period. You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment.
