An opportunity has arisen at Southend University Hospital to join a workforce with a reputation for excellence in the way it cares for the people it serves.

The Rehabilitation Service is looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic experienced Junior or Senior II Occupational Therapist who is looking to join the Stroke Team. Applications are sought from individuals who are committed to providing high quality patient care with excellent communication skills and have the ability to liaise with a variety of people.

The successful candidate would ideally have completed a junior rotation within an acute stroke setting and be familiar with cognitive screening and functional assessments for this client group.

On appointment: 27 days

After five years' service: 29 days
