The Role

A vacancy has arisen for two HR Advisor’s to join our busy expanding HR team.

You will provide a comprehensive and effective HR advisory service in support of specialties within the Trust. You will act as the first point of contact for line managers providing expert HR advice on a wide range of employee relations issues including managing performance, sickness absence etc. This role requires the successful candidate to be confident in dealing with managers and staff at all levels.

 

You should be well organised and used to working in a fast paced environment managing a high volume of work, with a "can do" attitude.

Candidates should have:

  • Have a thorough understanding of all issues related to employment relations and employment law

  • Be able to build and establish rapport with staff and managers at all levels of the organisation

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Have the experience or the ability to coach and influence key stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and to meet deadlines

  • Ability to prioritise own work and plan in advance

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise and effective way to staff and managers at all levels including accurate note-taking

  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail

This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
