At Wiltshire CCG we adopt a “Think Family” approach to Safeguarding and are looking for two enthusiastic practitioners to support this model of delivery for our children, families and adults primarily within Primary Care across Wiltshire. Therefore experience gained in the Primary Care setting would beadvantageous.


You will provide professional advice and guidance toprimary careon issues relating to safeguarding and support the development of local leadership to promote the strategic priorities of current and new models of safeguarding partnership working; embedding good practice and reflective learning in Primary Care. You will be passionate about the promotion of multi-agency/multi-disciplinary working within key safeguarding principles and statutory requirements. You will help develop and deliver safeguarding training for Primary Care across Wiltshire.


You will assist the Safeguarding Leads and Multi Agency Safeguarding Hubs in local investigations and enquiries, Serious Case Review (SCR) and Safeguarding Adult Review (SAR) processes as required. There will be a quality assurance function which will include review of reporting, as well as implementing and monitoring the recommendations from these reviews. You will also be involved with Serious Incidents (SIs), Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) and other processes deemed appropriate,working in partnership and collaboratively with strategic and local partners.
