The Medical Illustration team delivers a high quality and extensive service across the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The team provides comprehensive medical illustration services including clinical photography, ophthalmic photography, general image management, graphic design and multimedia services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team. As the successful candidate, you will support the provision of a professional and effective Ophthalmic Photography service to the Ophthalmology Department.

You will participate in ophthalmic photography including Stereo Photography, Optical Coherence Tomography Autofluoresence, Fundus Photography, Fluorescein Angiography, Indocyanine Green Angiography, Red-free Photography and Anterior Segment Imaging. When undertaking scans you will communicate with patients, their families and carers to ensure they understand what the requested scans entail.

During non-clinical time, tasks may include completing mandatory training, preparing Standard Operating Procedures and undertaking personal development, as agreed with your line manager.

The successful candidate will have an HND or equivalent experience in photography, good communications skills, and be able to work under pressure within tight turnaround times. This role includes working at our Cromer and Grove Road sites. The role also includes evening and weekend working on rotation.

Full time: 37.5 hours per week
