We have an opportunity for a System Manager to manage our in-house clinical portal, Panda. The primary responsibilities of this post are to ensure that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and programme Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the clinical portal are maintained and reports are provided on a regular basis.

 

Playing a key part in a team of analysts and specialists, you will elicit, interpret and review new technical requirements for the clinical portal. You will also use the in-house developed Forms software to create new applications to meet the needs of clinicians. business managers and the wider Trust.

 

Playing a major role in the maintenance of the portal you will plan and manage system upgrades and maintenance, risks, changes including accounts and access control.

 

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role within a commercial environment. You will have proven experience managing applications preferably with some knowledge of system development methodologies. Ideally you will have some experience using modern development techniques. though training can be provided.

 

The BSUH IT department is currently undertaking a range of exciting upgrade projects, including desktop, infrastructure, software development and networking equipment. For the right candidate there will be plenty of career opportunities to progress within a highly competent technical team in a forward thinking and progressive organisation.

 

Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.

 

Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions).
