£55,905 - £66,627 p.a. inc.

Senior Contracts Manager - Permanent

Work Base: 15 Marylebone Road, London, NW1 5JD

NHS North West London Collaborative of Clinical Commissioning Groups (NWL CCGs) is a collaboration of 8 CCGs made up of: Brent CCG, Central London CCG, Ealing CCG, Hammersmith & Fulham CCG, Harrow CCG, Hillingdon CCG, Hounslow CCG, and West London CCG.

Each of the 8 CCGs is a statutory organisation in its own right and has a Chair-person Managing Director, its own Governing Body, sub committees and wider governance structure. The governing bodies of the CCGs are the ultimate decision making bodies and are sovereign. To support the governing bodies there is a local team of CCG staff, as well as a small number of staff who work across the 8 organisations. The Central Contracts Team (CCT) is one of those shared support teams.

The Central Contracts Team (CCT) is looking for a highly committed and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Senior Contracts Manager for a variety of community contracts; these include mental health, third sector, outpatient services and a few acute services. The post holder will be based in the Marylebone Road NW1 5JD office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing contracts within a designated portfolio, to deliver high quality healthcare and compliance with the CCT’s statutory obligations. As NWL CCGs look to work in a more integrated way and explore new commissioning models, the ability to build robust relationships with Commissioners, providers and any other stakeholders will be crucial, so the post holder must be experienced and confident whilst demonstrating strong and effective communication skills.

The successful candidate will be creative and innovative within their approach and will have a passion for driving the vision of the organisation. In return, the post holder will get the opportunity to work with a dynamic and rapidly developing Contracting and Performance Team, in an environment in which the post holder will be expected to help with developing future leaders within the team.

It is both an exciting and challenging time for the NWL Collaboration of CCGs and therefore the CCT are looking for an enthusiastic person, good at negotiation, effective in all aspects of contract management and will inspire and manage change. They must be a person who will relish the challenge of helping the team further develop a high performing contracting and performance monitoring.
