Full time, part time and bank roles available

We are currently recruiting for the above positions within our Telecomms department in Royal Papworth Hospital. Our brand new Hospital is due to be opened in April 2019. The new hospital will be located at the Cambridge Bio Medical Campus.

The role requires connecting calls to callers requirements, utilising the appropriate recourses i.e. extensions, bleeps, long range pagers, home numbers and mobiles. To respond to all emergency calls, alarms and contact appropriate personnel. We are currently changing our telephone systems to using Cisco platform and the Arc attendant consoles.

Initially, the training programme for this role will take place at our existing site in Papworth Everard.

The successful candidate should be able to work unsupervised, and experience of a PC based console.

An essential requirement for this job is to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays (slight possibility to work nights). It is expected that shift patterns will change when the hospital relocates to Cambridge Bio Medical Campus in April 2019.
