We are looking to enhance our Band 5 nursing team on the Acute Medical Unit and Short Stay Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, fast paced Unit. You will work closely with the Emergency department and Site team as well as the other wards and departments across the organisation.

We will need you to be flexible, dynamic and keen, and show a willingness to learn and embrace change. You will be part of an exciting and developing team which will support and develop you to achieve your potential. We will provide you with development opportunities to enhance your current level of practice and will support you as you take your career forward.

We are a busy District General Hospital built under the PFI initiative, complete with new state of the art equipment. We recognise that the delivery of safe, high quality, effective and most importantly compassionate care relies on nurses who are committed to excellence standards. Current employees should be aware that this position is advertised as a GWH position and appointment ends any TUPE protection.

All candidates are required to pay for their own DBS check where applicable. Standard DBS check costs £26 and will be recovered from your first pay; Enhanced DBS check costs £44 and will be split and recovered over the first 2 pay.

Bank posts requiring a DBS check; payment must be made prior to commencing.

Apprentices are exempt from payment.
