Due to the retirement and promotion of existing staff members we require enthusiastic community nurses to join our Neighbourhood team. These are permanent positions and you will be required to work shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

We wish to recruit flexible and resourceful team players who have high standards and can embrace the service changes and developments working as part of the Malvern Neighbourhood team. You will join a well-established team and should be highly motivated and be able to deliver high quality evidence based nursing care, within the community setting to support those who wish to stay in their own home and avoid hospital admission. You will have good communication skills, be able to work autonomously whilst working in an integrated way and be able to facilitate high quality patient centred care to include completing holistic assessments whilst demonstrating competency in an extensive range of clinical skills.

Applicants should be fully qualified and hold current registration with the NMC.

The role covers a 7 day roster working between the hours of 07.30 and 18:30 and due to the nature of the post the applicant must be able to travel independently and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. Whilst the base is identified, staff can be asked to work anywhere within the Business Unit or Service if necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: All new appointments are subject to 6 months’ probation period.

New employees to the Trust are required to pay the fee for the initial DBS check (this will be deducted from their first months’ salary) and the annual subscription (£13) to the DBS Update Service. The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.


Disclosure and Barring Service Check
