1 x 22.50 HOURS PER WEEK working 3 x 7.5 hour shifts worked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

1 x 28.50 HOURS PER WEEK working 3 x 12 hour shifts worked over a 24/7 rota to include days and nights.

A vacancy has arisen for Switchboard Operatives to join our established team of staff within the main Switchboard facility. The post holder will be required to be flexible to meet the service requirements. Have excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with sound experience of using a PC, have a confident and polite telephone manner and the awareness of confidentiality issues.

Applicants must be trustworthy, reliable and be able to prioritise work load and adhere to any emergency situation following departmental procedures.

All training will be given to meet the requirements of the post.

Applicants will be required to undertake any further training required for the role.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £31 and an enhanced check is £49.

New starters to the NHS will start at the bottom of the advertised salary band.
