North Bristol NHS Trust is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the post of a Clinical Coding Divisional Lead.

 

This is an opportunity to take on a thrilling and varied role, providing you the chance to work with multidisciplinary teams including clinical teams, IM+T, finance and projects, all the while shaping the future of the coding department.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player, with excellent communication and leadership skills. They will have an extensive knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS-4 national standards, with the ability to relay these highly complex rules to a variety of people. They will have a strong aptitude for the mentoring and development of more junior colleagues, as well as a desire to always find ways to improve the overall coding function, from ensuring our team of staff are well looked after to making sure the Trust receive appropriate income.
