We are looking for a Night Support Worker to join our Extra Care Scheme in Combe Down, Bath. This role is to work nights, the shifts run from 9.30pm to 8am.

The Orchard is set in a beutiful peacefulsurroundingslocatedwithin close proximaty of local bus routes.

This post involves waking night duties and the successful applicant will be expected to remain awake during the whole shift. You will have a 30 minute unpaid break.

Under the general direction of the Extra Care Manager & Shift Leader on duty you will provide personal care and practical support as determined by assessed needs, to enable individuals to live as independently as possible in their own home & is not in a hospital setting. This will involve providing services to encourage tenants’ functional rehabilitation.

 

Night Enhanced Rate (10pm - 6am)

£11.36 - £13.52 per hour (dependent on age & experience)

Sirona Adult Supported Living Services consists of 3 Community Resource Centres and 5 Extra Care services which are based in Keynsham, Bath and Midsomer Norton. Each Community Resource Centre includes a residential care home for between 30 and 45 people and provides care & health services in a safe environment for older vulnerable adults with a variety of disabilities including dementia. Each Extra Care Scheme provides 24 hour support to 30 tenants to live independently in their own homes within the community.

In all of the services, the needs of service users include support with some or all aspects of daily living, including personal care, activities and maintaining contact with family and friends when required.

This is a challenging but rewarding role. Previous experience of working in care would be desirable, but a commitment to deliver quality care is essential.
