An exciting opportunity has arisen within Public Health Nursing to work as part of the admin team providing administration support to the Public Health Nursing team.

You will be expected to work within the team providing administration support on a daily basis and applicants will need an understanding of data inputting; have good communication, filing and organisational skills.

You should have recent, relevant experience in an Administrative /Secretarial / Reception / Customer Service role, knowledge of office procedures and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook. IT skills may be tested at interview.

Applicants should also be educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE – Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject or have considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post.

Successful applicants are expected to work flexibly across the Trust to meet the needs of the service

The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
