System Implementation Manager

Full-time (37.5hrs per week)

Band 7

Based in Bedfordshire or Cambridgeshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, motivated, confident and flexible individual to lead our newly established e-Rostering and auto work scheduling implementation across the Trust. Based in either Bedfordshire or Cambridgeshire, you will work with clinical teams across the Trust to roll out rostering and work scheduling to enable the teams to work more effectively. You will also work with service managers and the informatics team to maximise the benefits of the system through use of workforce business information for service improvement.

You do not need to have used our systems but experience of effective management of workforce or clinical recording systems is essential. You will have the skills to challenge current practice in a supportive manner. You will be committed to achieving your work goals role modelling our values of honesty, empathy, ambition and respect.

You will be able to work at a fast pace, able to deal with issues independently and effectively. You will be the first point of contact with users for advice, guidance, support and training on all aspects of e-Rostering and scheduling and will work with the clinical system trainers to implement multi system training for teams and new staff.

You will have excellent IT front-end user and interpersonal skills, be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, have a flexible approach to work and also enjoy working as part of a team within a demanding and busy environment. You will have an understanding of the clinical environment and be able to share best practice on methods of improving rostering practices for the benefit of staff and improved patient experience.

Strong computer skills, experience of generating reports, analysing data and interpreting information is very essential to this role.

The post can be based at the Poynt in Luton or the Meadows in St Ives, Huntingdon

This will not apply to successful applicants who are registered with the DBS Update Service and in possession of the disclosure certificate, for whom an online status check will be undertaken.
