We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.

Windswept Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit in Swindon, is looking for dedicated and caring individuals to join the Team as Registered Nurses (RMN/RNLD).

Windswept is a 14 bedded inpatient unit, based at Sandalwood Court in Stratton, Swindon. We are a resource that provides rehabilitation, for people with enduring Mental Health needs, within a supportive environment.

We promote independence using a holistic model of care and needs based and socially inclusive interventions. We work with people to help them achieve their aspirations and potential.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to work with our Service Users and their families and Carers at Windswept, to agree a care plan based on the principles of recovery and resilience.

Applicants should have a positive outlook, be self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative, although the team approach is essential.

Individuals should be fully conversant with the Mental Health Act and it’s recent updates; have an understanding of the latest nursing practices as well as the local and national agenda’s that impact on nursing practice and patient care.

 

We will consider full time and part time applications on a shift pattern which involves weekends, days and nights, and bank holidays.
