A new opportunity has come up in the Primary and Urgent Care Directorate for a Primary Care Co-ordinator role.  


We are looking for the right post holder to provide high quality administrative support to the primary care team in the delivery of its responsibilities and portfolio of work, with a focus on delegated commissioning of primary care services. This role will be joining the team at a time when there are interesting and significant changes and therefore we are looking to recruit ideally a full time post (37.5 hours per week), but would also be interested in hearing from you if you can offer regular hours on a part-time or flexible basis.


The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to support the effective delivery of the primary care work plan in relation to delegated commissioning and progressing specific elements of delegated responsibility in line with an agreed work programme.


Working to the Primary Care Commissioning Assistant you will support with the co-ordination of activities, managing delivery of outputs to required deadlines across the Primary Care team.


The post holder will work with various member practices and provider organisations within NHS Wiltshire CCG to deliver increased resilience and new models of care, delivering an effective and competent level of reporting.


To perform this key role to a high standard you will be Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience


You will also have experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems.  It is essential that you have skills for communication on complex information and administrative matters and be able to problem solve and respond to sudden unexpected demands as communication and negotiation with primary care providers including GPs will be a key part of the role.  You must have the ability to work on your own initiative and organise your own workload with minimal supervision working to tight and often changing timescales.
