Who we are

At HRCH, we only want to provide the type of outstanding care that we would recommend to our family and friends.

We provide community healthcare and urgent treatment services for over 515,000 people living across the London boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond-Upon-Thames.

In the latest NHS Staff Survey results for community trusts, we had the highest percentage of staff in the country who felt their role made a difference to patients. We also had top scores for satisfaction with the quality of care staff can deliver.

In 2018 we were named ‘Best Place to Work for Employee Satisfaction’ by the Nursing Times and won the HSJ Workforce Award.

Our job is all about people and we believe that staff who feel valued and supported deliver better outcomes for our patients, so we invest in our people and their ideas.

With some of the best career development, staff wellbeing and flexible working opportunities around, you will be well looked after so that you can make a positive difference to the lives of people in our community.

We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Speech and Language Therapist to join our innovative and well supported team. The post includes working within our Schools and Early Years teams. The role also includes participating and supporting service development and supervising junior staff.

Richmond Speech and Language Therapy Service is a well-established, integrated and supportive team and is jointly commissioned by Health and Education. We offer a programme of group and individual supervision which varies according to the experience and needs of individual members of staff and we strongly support continual professional development. In addition, our outreach team, made up of senior therapists, is available to offer support and training internally as required.

The applicants should be able to demonstrate an ability to work flexibly, using their initiative to deliver a responsive and quality service. They should be able to work effectively as part of wider team and have experience working with pre-school and school aged children including those with additional needs, as well as with their families/key professionals.
