The Community Engagement & Training Team are responsible for looking after our volunteer Community First Responders (CFRS), Fire, and Armed Forces Co-Responders as well as our public access defibrillator (PAD) sites across the footprint of SCAS.
The team also provides training and governance to external stakeholders and works with local communities and schools.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an Assistant Community Engagement & Training Officer (Co-Responders) to assist with the training and day to day management of our Co-Responder schemes.  This is a full time contract (37.5hrs a week).

We are looking for an individual who is a self-motivated, talented educator and assessor who is able to work across the SCAS footprint as required and will primarily manage their workload with input from other members of the team to ensure they achieve maximum productivity whilst going about their duties.

There will be an expectation of flexibility in relation to workload as the nature of our department and the work of our teams means that occasionally plans will have to be changed with little or no notice to accommodate an evolving need.

This position will be primarily based at our Thame offices (Oxfordshire) and will involve working predominantly in the Thames Valley area.
