Infection Prevention and Control Nurse Specialist (band 7)

Are you passionate about infection prevention and control and looking to further develop your leadership and clinical skills?
We are looking for a specialist nurse to be part of a re-launched infection prevention and control team in a community NHS trust.

You will need to be adaptable and proactive; able to provide specialist, risk-based advice to clinicians working in a diverse range of community services including urgent care, inpatient rehabilitation, community IV therapy, immunisations as well as community nursing and children’s services.

You will have at least five years post-registration nursing experience, ideally with some time spent working in the community, with two years recent infection prevention and control specialist nursing experience. You will have a specialist qualification at diploma, degree level or above in infection prevention and control, health protection or a related subject and a recognised teaching qualification.
