We provide a large number of mental and physical health services. Poor physical and mental health are linked and our ambition is for people to have their physical and mental health problems identified, assessed and treated at the same time.

The work of our staff is very wide-ranging. Some of the things we do include:

  • helping children and young people with mental health issues
  • supporting new mums suffering post-natal depression
  • assessing people detained under the Mental Health Act
  • helping people get active, eat well and take care of their own wellbeing
  • treating people who have dementia or experience problems thinking and remembering
  • helping people remain independent in the community
  • running high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.

Band 3 Support Time and Recovery (STaR) Worker

 

 

 

Both Ealing & Hounslow Early Intervention Services (EIS) are now looking to recruit enthusiastic, committed STaR workers. Applicants should have a good knowledge of the issues of working with young adults (18 – 35) experiencing psychosis and/or complex mental health issues.

 

 

 

The role requires an understanding of the wider health environment. The Trust is currently reviewing how EI Services are provided and the successful candidate would be part of implementing any changes to current provision.

 

 

 

You will be a dynamic, caring and positive thinking practitioner who ideally has experience of working with this group of individuals and has experience of facilitating groups.

 

 

 

We are looking for individuals who will play a key role in on-going development and who can demonstrate creativity and initiative.

 

 

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced individual. You will be the recipient of regular on-going support, supervision and development opportunities.

 

 

 

The successful applicant will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that the services delivered are safe, effective and evidence based.
