Our physical healthcare services include intermediate care services in Hammersmith & Fulham as part of the Community Independence Service partnership.

Our national, specialist and forensic services include:

  • Medium secure services on the St Bernard’s Hospital site in Ealing
  • Services for people with complex and severe personality disorder at the Cassel Hospital in Richmond
  • High secure services at Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 5 Community Psychiatric Nurse as part of an integrated Community Recovery Team, working alongside colleagues from the London Borough of Ealing. The team supports adults of all ages with severe and enduring mental health needs using the Recovery model, working within pathways with clear outcomes for clients.

 

You will have a defined caseload, supporting people with mental health needs and ensuring any physical health needs are met. You will have experience of assessing health needs and risk as well as completing care plans and risk assessment. You will develop plans with clear aims and achievable objectives. You will support people within the Care Programme Approach where appropriate.

 

You will have a good knowledge of the Mental Health Act, the Mental Capacity Act and the Care Act with some understanding of how these apply in practice. You will have a good knowledge of safeguarding.

 

You will undertake routine clinical activity as part of the nursing team.

Registered Nurses are required to produce their current NMC Revalidation documents/Portfolio at the assessment centre for verification, unless you are a newly qualified nurse from University.
