Southmead Hospital - Early Years Practitioner


    • Required to work in a busy 81 place nursery for children aged between 3 months to 4 years 11 months old. Your role will include overseeing a group of children within the nursery alongside an Early Years Assistant Practitioner, being a key person to a group of children and running a group . You will need to keep accurate records of your key children’s progress, observe, plan and assess ensuring you are meeting all their needs. The nursery has recently moved buildings and increased the number of children from 54 places to 81 with the intention of expanding to a 90 place nursery which enables you to have further development opportunities.


    • You will need to work as part of a team, have good communication and ensure the health and safety of the children within the nursery. The full time position is 37.5 hrs below:


    • Shifts are done on a 4 week rolling rota –


    • 7.00am-4.30pm, 8.00am-5.30pm + 8.30am-6.00pm


    • You have a half day once a week, 7.00am-10.30am, 8.00am-11.30am or 8.30am-12.00am


    • Qualified Early Years Practitioner
